Lisa’s “MAKING THE WORLD A MORE COLORFUL PLACE TO BE” has been demonstrated in the last 35 years with her commitment and dedication to hair design. Through 25 of those years she traveled teaching and sharing Advanced concepts, product development, and techniques to fellow artisans to grow and further their business.
Her contributions and accomplishments have been recognized in National Trade Magazines,by International and National Manufacturers, Professional Organizations including International Haircolor Exchange and American Board Certified Hair-colorist (ABCH) as well as Colorado’s own Bride’s Magazine.
5 years ago this single mom resigned from travel to dedicate her efforts to raising her preteen daughter and who will graduate this spring and is currently enrolled in C.E. in Cosmetology. Her plans include Hollywood and beyond. We have loved Colorado together enjoying skiing and the mountain air. Our passions include an eclectic plethora of art, live music and live sporting events.
The common thread of COLOR is this drive of Lisa’s to elevate the well being of others. Hello hello! My name is Avy McFarland. I am a Colorado native as well as a 3rd Generation Englewood Native. I have been with my husband Ben for 10+ years and we have three boys, Kash (3), Reagan (1), and Riggs (due in July!). I also have two American Bulldogs Hemi and Bean.
I currently reside in the small town of Elbert on our mini farm that we have nicknamed the Thunderdome. When I’m not chasing my wild boys, I enjoy CrossFit, dirt biking and going boating with our speed boat. My newest interests at the Thunderdome are gardening, beekeeping, and helping with our friends cattle.
I’ve been in the beauty industry for close to 10 years. I graduated top of my class from the Aveda Institute Denver. I have been at Reflections Hair Studio for 7+ years. This past year I was able to become and independent contractor of Refections and opened Rebel Hair Company.
My motto as a stylist is “When you look good you feel good and when you feel good you look good”. I believe that beauty comes from the outside and inside. I enjoy making all my clients feel their best. I specialize in haircuts (men’s, Women’s, and kids), Hair color, and bridal/special occasion hair.
My favorite thing to do is Multi dimensional color that has longevity and believability. I enjoy hearing that my clients get compliments even when their hair is due! Bridal hair is another one of my passions. I love all of the excitement of getting a bride ready for their big day!
